Have You Fed Your Houseplants Lately?

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

Did you know that your houseplants need a mix of nutrients, just as humans need to consume a mix of protein, fat, carbohydrate, minerals and vitamins? They particularly need nitrogen (N) for leaf growth and phosphorus (P) for root growth.

Worm juice fertiliser is complete plant food on its own, or as a supplement to other fertiliser regimes like liquid compost tea. It is a by-product of nature – rich in good nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and the key is the 100,000CFU/ml bacteria plus ready available liquid minerals and trace elements for immediate plant uptake.

Worm Juice, also known as ‘liquid gold’, is a magical elixir that provides billions of good microbes such as fungi, and helpful, nitrogen-fixing bacteria to your plants and veggies. You don’t see these good microbes in synthetic liquid fertilisers, so nothing beats this recipe from mother nature.

It's the liquid byproduct of our proud worm farm in Auckland and is a fantastic fertiliser. The juice must be diluted down to 1:10 (1 part juice to 10 parts water).
